With a bit of delay from one another, I managed to realize two interesting projects with my paintings as poetry book covers. One is “South Blood” with author Yordanka Gospodinova, and the other is “The Fire of Love”, also with her poems, but in Russian.

For the “South Blood” poetry book covers I specifically painted three paintings, “A Vine”, “South Blood” the painting of the same name as the book, and the “Raised by the Wind”. The paintings have been inspired by specific poems of Dani Gospodinova. The design of the book we did in collaboration with Alexander Grantcharov, and for the title we used a custom font, made from my own handwriting.

For the cover of “Fire of Love” I painted two artworks – “Bewitching” and “The Embrace”.

The original soft pastel paintings, created specifically for the two poetry books, are all owned by Yordanka Gospodinova.
