I love creating beauty. For a long time soft pastels were my big love, then oil paints became my passion and inspiration.
I am thrilled by the fine femininity, the ethereality, the poeticity, the exquisiteness, the tender vibes, the simplicity and the universal beauty of the female figure... I don't paint portraits. I paint an emotion with a face.
When I create, two things are most important to me: the emotion, which I embed in the painting, and the story, that it tells. For every person that story might be different, but I believe, when you look at someone's creation, you can always tell what is going on in that creator's soul…
I have no claim on the seriousness that often acompanies art. My only requirement, to myself, is for the process to be joyful, self discovering, full of elan, meaning, growth and satisfaction.
I am happy that I live in fruitful times to be a female artist. I am thankful, and I can't stop feeling elated, that my paintings adorn hundreds of homes and offices all over the world - from Bulgaria to Australia, from Germany to Korea, from Finland to Spain, from the United Kingdom to the United States of America.
And I keep going forward, leaving my trail of beauty on the threads of the unrelenting time.
